Confirm both Orchard addresses
Amity lists its campus at 228 Orchard Road. Fuhua's Thomas / Orchard project is at 3 Saint Thomas Walk. Both are in the wider Orchard area, but they are not the same building or address.
Confirm whether the student's programme uses the published campus, then test the route and station exits before relying on the area name alone.
Plan the school day and everyday errands together
The Thomas property is set back from the main shopping corridor while remaining close to the Orchard and Somerset service cluster. Supermarkets, food, pharmacies and transport are available across the surrounding district.
Students should still identify the specific supermarket, clinic and route they expect to use, rather than treating every Orchard amenity as equally close.
Match the room to study and sharing preferences
Thomas room options include ensuite master rooms, a standard double room and triple arrangements. Compare desk space, occupancy, bathroom use and whether the price is per person or per room.
Reference prices and room condition must be reconfirmed before commitment. The minimum application period is six months.
Keep arrival support separate from school administration
Fuhua coordinates housing, move-in inspection, cleaning and repairs. Amity and the relevant authorities remain the source for academic registration, attendance and Student's Pass instructions.
